CONNECTING WASERVES CLIENTS WITH Employment & Training Opportunities

WorkSource Pierce resolved most of its cases, helping veterans pursue employment opportunities. In one instance, a veteran moved from CA to WA; he was willing to commute to Pierce County for job searches. Another client retires in 14 months; he’s currently enrolled in school, seeking employment with federal government or Washington State agencies. WorkSource guided this client through the following action items for a positive result:

    1. Complete employment plan
    2. Identify specific potential industries for work
    3. Determine commute distance and expected wages
    4. Register for ONET and E-benefits for resume and employment ideas/information
    5. Review and complete resume workbook and materials

WAServes is grateful for WorkSource Pierce as a vital employment resource for its clients. Most of their employment outcomes have been resolved.
