4 Facts About the WAServes Client Base

WAServes – Greater Puget Sound is a coordinated network of public, private and non­profit organizations serving service members, veterans, and their families in the Greater Puget Sound area. This network guides veterans and their family members to the most appropriate services and resources available to help resolve their requests. The WAServes client base is comprised of active duty, reserve, and National Guard service members as well as veterans and their families since February 2017. AmericaServe’s successful launched of the network reflects a broad range of network providers whose services range from benefits to spiritual enrichment support.

Who Are We Serving?

WAServes grew its client base by 807% from its launch in February through the end of June 2017. Here’s a snapshot of the WAServes clients and the services requested by veterans, service members, and family members.

42% of the clients are veterans from the Post 9/11 service era, while 23% prefer not to share their military service era and WAServes clients are mostly male.

While it’s too early to draw conclusions from the first five months of data, WAServes is able to use this demographic information to help with client referrals to network providers. WAServes will conduct its first “In Progress Review” (IPR) in September 2017. After this review, WAServes will have comprehensive findings of it clients and service requests, services in demand, and network provider growth and engagement. The WAServes staff is proud to be part of the AmericaServes national network, working with its 75 Washington State network providers in the Greater Puget Sound area.
